China’s Deep Sea Warrior submersible completes 500th dive

China’s deep-sea submersible Shenhai Yongshi, or Deep Sea Warrior, has completed its 500th dive. China’s second manned submersible returned to the port of Hainan on October 25, 2022, carried by the scientific research vessel Tansuo-2, or Exploration-2. It can reach a maximum depth of 4,546 metres (14,915ft).
