China and Russia conduct joint naval exercises to strengthen alliance

China and Russia conducted joint naval exercises in the East China Sea on December 21, 2022. Beijing said the drill aims to strengthen the partnership between the two countries. The first joint China-Russia naval exercise was held in 2012.
