Chinese jobseekers lack confidence, as in-person career fairs return

China’s in-person job fairs have made a comeback after operating online for three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Hundreds of similar job fairs reportedly took place across China in February 2023,  the latest sign of China’s slow economic recovery.
