Chinese residents paid tribute to victims of a deadly knife attack at a college in eastern China on November 17, 2024. A former student of the Wuxi Vocational College of Arts and Technology went on a stabbing rampage on November 16, killing eight people and injuring 17 others, police said. The suspect, a man arrested at the scene, has confessed according to police, who said the 21-year-old was angry about not getting his graduation certificate and failing an exam. The attack took place just days after a driver in the southern Chinese city of Zhuhai rammed his car into a crowd, killing 35 people and injuring 43 in China’s deadliest mass killing in a decade.
