Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is hopeful for a ‘very successful’ Xi-Trump summit

More than a dozen US business leaders, including Tesla’s Elon Musk, Apple’s Tim Cook, and Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, have joined US President Donald Trump’s business delegation for high-stakes talks in Beijing. With a combined net worth of over US$1 trillion, the American business executives accompanying the US president are the wealthiest such delegation to visit China. Huang told state broadcaster CCTV on May 14, 2026, that he hoped Trump and Xi would build on their good relationship during talks in Beijing, to strengthen bilateral relations.
