Dayu Zhang

When Hong Kong resident Lin Runqiao arrived in Wuhan on January 7, 2020, to celebrate the Lunar New Year with family and friends, he had no idea that his life would be turned upside down in the following two months. When the city emerged as the original epicentre of the deadly coronavirus that causes Covid-19, the government placed the central Chinese city under lockdown on January 23 to curb the spread of the infection.
