Netherlands sees worst riots in four decades over coronavirus curbs

The Netherlands faced its worst civil unrest in four decades after a third night of rioting on January 25, 2021, against a government curfew aimed at curbing the coronavirus pandemic.

Police arrested more than 180 people after clashes in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and smaller Dutch cities, local media reported.
