South Korea braces for possible fourth coronavirus wave amid slow vaccination drive
South Korea recorded 532 new coronavirus cases on April 18, 2021, the first time in six days the number fell below 600. But health authorities warned of a possible fourth wave and tougher Covid-19 restrictions if infections do not slow down fast enough. Meanwhile, the country noted for containing the coronavirus stepped up its immunisation programme, with the aim of vaccinating up to 12 million people by the first half of 2021.
