Cardboard beds set up in Thai hospital ahead of third wave of Covid-19 cases involving new variant

A field hospital filled with cardboard beds was opened in the Thai capital Bangkok on April 21, 2021, as the country prepares for a third wave of Covid-19 cases which are expected to include infections from a highly contagious coronavirus variant.
