China’s ‘vertical forest’ residential complex offers urban green living

The Qiyi City Forest Garden in Chengdu is an experimental urban development in the capital of China’s southwestern Sichuan province. The residential complex, which opened in 2018, features a balcony in every unit containing lush plants that help cut down noise and absorb pollution. But the extensive greenery has also attracted some unwanted guests.
