Hong Kong Ocean Park records HK$241 million deficit: blames drop in mainland China visitors

Shanshan Kao

Hong Kong’s Ocean Park has recorded its first deficit since the Sars virus hit the city in 2003, blaming it on a sharp drop in mainland China visitors, and announcing a 13.8 per cent fee rise.

One-day tickets will cost HK$438 for adults and HK$219 for children starting from January 1, 2017. Hong Kong citizens will enjoy the original price for two more months until March.
