Hong Kong pop singer Ellen Joyce Loo falls to her death aged 32

Hong Kong pop singer Ellen Joyce Loo died after falling from her apartment in Happy Valley on August 5. The 32-year-old star was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2013. Loo made her debut at the age of 15 with Eman Lam, forming girl band at17. She later pursued a solo career in Taiwan. Loo, who came out as a lesbian in 2017, also became known as an LGBT activist.
