Witness describes knife attack on protester before start of march in Hong Kong’s Yuen Long

 A man has been arrested by police after he allegedly slashed another man with a blade on a footbridge, next to a Lennon Wall in Yuen Long in Hong Kong’s northern New Territories. The young man was seen bleeding from his torso and taken away by paramedics. Eyewitnesses said the arrested man tossed a blade from the footbridge.

The attack happened as thousands gathered for a march protesting the now-suspended extradition bill and violence against civilians in Yuen Long last weekend.
