Houston Rockets GM’s Hong Kong tweet outrages Chinese fans

Daryl Morey, general manager of the Houston Rockets, sparked outrage among China’s NBA fans after he voiced support for the pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong on Twitter. Multiple Chinese businesses and the Chinese Basketball Association, chaired by the Rockets’ former player Yao Ming, have cut ties with the team.
