Man arrested at Hong Kong airport over stabbing of officer during national security law protests

Hong Kong police have arrested a 24-year-old suspect in connection with the July 1, 2020 stabbing of an officer during protests against the city’s new national security law. The suspect was arrested on a UK-bound plane at Hong Kong International Airport in the early hours of July 2, reportedly after a relative of the man tipped off police.
