Hong Kong national security police arrest activist near US consulate

 Hong Kong student activist Tony Chung was apprehended in a coffee shop across the road from the US consulate in the city on October 27, 2020. The former convenor of the now-defunct pro-independence group Studentlocalism was earlier held on suspicion of trying to turn Hong Kong into a republic.
