Hong Kong’s first political race after Beijing shake-up as Election Committee voting underway

Some 4,900 voters headed to five polling stations across Hong Kong on September 19, 2021, to cast their ballots for members of the powerful Election Committee, kicking off the city’s first political race under a Beijing-decreed system overhaul.
