Local and foreign media need not worry about Article 23, says Hong Kong justice minister

Hong Kong Secretary for Justice Paul Lam Ting-kwok said in a press conference on February 7, 2024, that the local national security law will only target foreign forces with clear intention to damage China’s national security. Local and foreign media “should not be worried” as long as they do not spread false information with clear intent to threaten national security.
