Hong Kong rings in Year of the Snake with annual signature Lunar New Year night parade

Hong Kong’s annual signature Lunar New Year night parade returned on January 29, 2025, with a bigger carnival to welcome the Year of the Snake. Around 100,000 spectators were estimated to have turned out for the Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade, organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
