‘ There’s nothing left’: Hong Kong residents devastated by deadly housing estate fire

People forced to flee the fire-ravaged Tai Po public housing estate have spoken about the sense of utter devastation after losing everything in the deadly blaze on November 26, 2025. At least 55 people have been killed and 279 others remain missing after the fire quickly spread to seven towers, trapping many inside.
