Ex-South Korean minister says Kim could become North Korea's Deng Xiaoping

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could be poised to become his country's version of Deng Xiaoping, according to former South Korean unification minister Jeong Se-hyun. Speaking to SCMP before the highly anticipated inter-Korean summit on April 27, Jeong gave insights into Kim's motives for taking a more conciliatory approach toward South Korea and other countries that have long pushed for Pyongyang's denuclearisation.
