Tens of thousands of people have been detained and deported by officers from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as President Donald Trump’s administration carries out his election promise to expel millions of illegal migrants from the country. ICE has set a target to arrest at least 3,000 people per day. The aggressive operations have targeted not only Latin American communities, but they are also creating an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty among Asian immigrant families across the country.
