Full speed ahead towards normalcy as Hong Kong Marathon returns

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon returned on February 12, 2023, as the first major sporting event held in the city after the lifting of most pandemic restrictions, including pre-race Covid testing. The 25th edition of the race was originally scheduled to be held in November last year but the 2022 race was cancelled after organisers could not obtain approval from the government.
