3D printouts of plant-based meat could become alternative food for world’s population

The Spanish firm Novameat has developed technology to recreate the appearance and texture of real beef steak, by feeding plant-based ingredients into a 3D printer. The company hopes the convincing appearance will help the product  become an accepted sustainable alternative to meat to feed the world’s population.
