Russia has ambitious plans to become a world-leading travel destination

Nearly 25 million tourists visited Russia in 2018, making it the world’s 16th most popular destination, according to the World Tourism Organisation. 

But Russia is making plans to increase visitor numbers and become one of the world’s top travel destinations.
