Belgian racing pigeon flies past record to sell for nearly US$1.9 million at auction

A Belgian racing pigeon named New Kim has sold for a world record €1.6 million or nearly US$1.9 million at an auction that ended on November 15, 2020. The two-year-old bird was acquired by the same Chinese buyer who bought the previous priciest pigeon, Armando.
