TV production of Lord of the Rings series leaves New Zealand for Britain

Amazon will move production of the second season of The Lord of the Rings series to Britain from New Zealand, rejecting million-dollar incentives to shoot the TV show in the same location as the feature films. The first season, which reportedly cost US$465 million, will be released on September 2, 2022.
