Former US president Donald Trump’s company found guilty in tax dodging scheme
Former US president Donald Trump’s company was convicted on December 6, 2022, of running a long-running tax fraud scheme. A jury in the state of New York found the Trump Organisation guilty on all 17 charges it faced, including paying personal expenses for its top executives and not reporting them for more than a decade. Though Trump was not personally on trial, he has previously criticised the case as being politically motivated.
