Syrian baby girl born under rubble after deadly earthquake killed rest of her family

A newborn girl was saved alive from the rubble of a collapsed building in northern Syria that fell during a magnitude 7.8 earthquake centred in neighbouring Turkey that struck on February 6, 2023. All seven other members of the girl’s family were killed, including her  mother who gave birth under the debris of their flattened home in the Syrian town of Jindires.
