Emotional moment as chimpanzee sees open sky for first time after 28 years in captivity

It was a moment filled with expressions of joy many humans would recognise when a chimpanzee named Vanilla got a chance to see an open sky for the first time in 28 years. The chimp was released onto an island rescue centre in June 2023 after being saved from a medical research lab in the US.
