A humpback whale briefly swallowed a kayaker before it released the man in the Strait of Magellan off the coast of southern Chile on February 8, 2025. Adrian Simancas was kayaking with his father, who shot a video of the close encounter with the whale that happened while they were holidaying in the popular holiday spot.
