Updated Coronavirus timeline: A visual guide to infections by country

Covid-19, a novel strain of coronavirus first reported in the Chinese city of Wuhan, has since turned into a global health crisis with more than 4.7 million confirmed cases worldwide. After three more months of data, we have updated our animated timeline which shows how the pandemic unfolded in each country as measured by the number of new infections each day since January 21.
