The song You Know Who Is My Father? has been described as sexist and misogynistic for its reference to a person performing a solo sex act while looking at the four-member girl band.

The music video also features Namewee playing a rich man surrounded by women clad in bikinis and short skirts.

Blackpink fans, or Blinks, have flooded the YouTube video page and Namewee’s Instagram account with messages demanding him to respect their idols. Some have also reported the video for using the K-pop group’s name without permission.

“Respect Blackpink, Respect Rose, Respect Jisoo, Respect Lisa, Respect Jennie,” read one comment, which garnered more than 9,900 likes.

Many fans also want Namewee to make a formal apology to Blackpink.

Amid the controversy, the video has garnered some 3.8 million views as of Friday afternoon, with another 61,000 views for a separate lyrics video.
