Season 6 of Fortnite Chapter 2, nicknamed Primal, launched on Tuesday, introducing new features such as the option to create makeshift weapons and the introduction of wild animals.
The Primal season will also add several new characters players can use, including Tomb Raider heroine Lara Croft and football superstar Neymar Jr. Details on Neymar’s arrival are coming soon, said publisher Epic Games.
Following the game’s Zero Crisis finale wrapping up the last season, a mysterious pulse blanketed the island, erasing advanced technology and giving the island a more primitive look, said Epic Games.
In the words of the trail, “the island has grown wild – and so must you”.

You’ll be able to hunt or tame wildlife, and Epic hints at more “fearsome” predators expected to roam the island soon.
You can also take loot from wildlife and technology unharmed by the pulse and create your own weapons.
Fortnite kicked off its last season in December, introducing players to the Mandalorian, the title character from the hit Disney+ TV series. Other skins released during Season 5 included Sarah Connor and the T-800 from the Terminator films, Predator from the classic sci-fi films, and the Xenomorph from the Alien series
