- The furocious competition, based off the American football event the Super Bowl, will air on ‘Discovery+’ and ‘Animal Planet’ in early February
- Stay pawsitive and support the work of animal shelters and rescues
The last 12 months have been pretty ruff for events, but thankfully the year’s most pupular competition will go forward as planned.
The annual Puppy Bowl, a fierce competition between two teams of doggos that rivals the Super Bowl, will premiere as planned on Discovery+ and Animal Planet on Sunday, February 7 (Monday, February 8 in Hong Kong).
Team Ruff and Team Fluff go paw to paw in this daring show of athletics that rivals the Olympics, which aims to raise awareness of pet adoption and the important work of animal shelters and rescues.
The event features 70 puppies from 22 different shelters, all of them up for adoption. The past 16 Puppy Bowls have had an adoption rate of 100 per cent.
