In Kua Kua, Chloe Yim shows that exams are not everything.

I grew up happily and enjoyed my studies in kindergarten and primary school. Thanks to my teacher, I picked up a hobby – dancing – when I was in kindergarten. I took part in many competitions and performances.

These activities helped boost my confidence and self-esteem, and I am no longer afraid to perform in front of strangers. However, I am a little bit shy when people I know are in the audience.

With all these happy memories, you must be wondering why I chose a topic about my studies. My poor test results are a major reason I wanted to say something about the pressure faced by local students.

I never thought that I was a talented student who was good at studying. Actually, my academic performance is pretty average. While I got a good grade in English, I did badly in Chinese, maths and science. I actually failed the science test.

I hope that this video can bring out the positive message that exams are not the most important thing in our lives. We should enjoy every single funny moment, and we should laugh a lot. That’s why the title of this video is Kua Kua.
