There’s a lot to be said for a bowl of chicken soup when you’re feeling run down, overwhelmed, sniffly or blue. While we are in no way saying that it is a replacement for medical advice if you are actually unwell, it has been shown that it may strengthen your immune system and protect your digestive tract. A bowl of your favourite type will definitely perk you up.
