The Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) announced the post-HKDSE university applications results for this year’s cohort of secondary school graduates, releasing them at 9am sharp on Thursday, 13 August.

The 41,664 students will be able to view the results of their application though the Jupas website https://www.jupas.edu.hk/en/, the websites of the nine Jupas universities, or the Jupas office 24 hour interactive voice response system phone line at 2334 2330.

This year, 48 per cent of candidates, 19,995 in total, received main round offers from Bachelor, Associate Degree and Higher Diploma programmes. 80 per cent of those, numbering 16,174, have been accepted by their Band A first choice course.

How to secure your Jupas university placement once the DSE is finished

The Jupas office reminds students in the process of getting their papers re-marked or grades checked that they should accept main round offers if they wish to study the programme.

Reconsideration after re-checking and re-marking results can only be submitted on 20 August (9am to 6pm), regardless of main round offers.

They also remind students that their offices are not open to in-person inquiries due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and questions can be directed to their hotlines at 2344 2929 and 2233 2929, by email at [email protected], the interactive voice response system at 2334 2330 and by fax at 2858 4825.

Details on application procedures can be found at their website, with a detailed reminder of important dates here.
