The Hong Kong Observatory reports that New Year’s Eve will bring us mist and light rain, along with cool temperatures in the evening.

Temperatures on the day will range between 17 to 21 degrees. New Year’s Day will be slightly cooler, with cloudy skies and temperatures ranging from 16 to 20 degrees.

The end of the first week of 2020 will bring cloudy days and temperatures between 17 to 22 degrees, with rain expected the following Monday.
