The Education Bureau has reminded parents and students that applications for a HK$3,500 Student Grant will end on June 30, and they should apply if they have not yet done so.
The grant, as part the 2019 budget, will be given to all secondary, primary and kindergarten students to help pay for student learning expenses.

A spokesman for the Bureau said they have received a total of about 867,000 applications, among which about 724,000 parents of eligible students have already received the grant, around 80 per cent.
About 900,000 students in total are eligible.
