Hong Kong will see mild weather on Christmas Day, so no need to take out your warmest coats just yet.
The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) recorded the maximum temperature at 20 degrees Celsius, with lows of 16 degrees Celsius expected. Despite the cooler temperatures, there will still be relatively high humidity, ranging from 65-85 per cent.
There will be sunny intervals throughout the day on December 25, with moderate winds. Take the opportunity for a nice walk after your Christmas lunch!
The temperature is expected to drop significantly closer towards the end of the year, and will be as low as 10 degrees Celsius on New Years Eve. Make sure to wrap up extra warm closer to the time!
