What's your favourite memory of your best friend?

Everyone has a best friend, but mine is a little different from most people’s. He can’t talk, he can’t hang out with me, and he can’t wear the same clothes as me – because he is a cat called Kim.

Kim has golden fur, big green eyes, and a big tummy.

Since he came into my home, my life has changed completely. Every day I need to help him by doing disgusting jobs, like cleaning his smelly toilet.

But every day, he will sit by the door and welcome me home. When I’m unhappy, he’ll put his paw on my head to comfort me. I’m so glad to have this special friend in my life!

We love you, Kim.

Best friends forever: thank you for having my back

My BFF is Cindy. One of our favourite things to do together is to go shopping. With Cindy, it takes about six hours! We will eat lots and buy lots of clothes.

Every time I go shopping with her, I am very excited at first, but by the end of the day, I’m very tired. Cindy is completely the opposite. She looks tired when she goes out, but by the time we’re finished shopping and she goes back home, she is full of energy!

I met my BFF Sugar more than 10  years ago.  We always chat, and no matter how far apart we are, we make sure to stay in touch. Whenever we have free time, we meet up and talk about our lives. She also recommends excellent books.

We’ve watched the summer sunset together, talked all night and listened to songs together. The moments I spend with her are very memorable.

I will never forget our special times together, and I definitely won’t forget her! I hope Sugar is always my best friend.

Best friends forever: thanks for the memories

My best friend is Sakura, and we met in Primary One. We were in the same class all through primary school. We would often talk in class – but we never got caught! At recess, we would laugh and laugh until it was over and we had to get back to class.

Now, we are in different secondary schools. We text a lot and see each other often. She never stops asking me to apply to her school, but I just started at my school and I don’t want to move just yet. We sometimes argue about small things, and we even argue about who has the better school!

I think that what we have is a real friendship, and I can’t imagine my life without her.

My best friend is CoCo. We first met in Form One, and we hit it off immediately. We chat and spend a lot of time together these days, and we like going to places such as Disneyland, Ocean Park or coffee shops to hang out.

Although we’re not in the same class, we still keep in touch and make time to catch up. She is a such good friend, with a caring and helpful heart. I’ve learned a lot though her, and we have the best of times when we are together. I hope we’ll be best friends forever!
