Show us your skills, and you could win a mega prize!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! You may not want a lot for Christmas, but if you’re a musician, we may have the one thing you need. We want to see and hear your best versions of your favourite festive tune - and you could win an amazing prize.

Whether you’re a solo performer, or in a band or choir, we want you to perform and record a version of a Christmas song, and share it with us. It can be any type of song: a religious carol, or a pop classic. It can be sung or purely instrumental. It can be a note-for-note rendition of the first recording, a creative reinterpretation that turns a familiar track into an almost brand-new song, or a completely original number.

The winner will receive HK$3,000 worth of vouchers to spend at a music store, while two runners-up will each receive HK$1,000 worth of vouchers, allowing you to buy music, recording equipment, gear or instruments. The best entries will appear on our YouTube channel and, and be shared on our social media platforms.

Classical or rock, traditional or funny, we can’t wait to see and hear what you’ve got! In the meantime, here’s a little Yuletide inspo!

How to enter

Film a video (1920x1080 MP4 or MOV format) of yourself, or your musical group performing a Christmas song. There are no restrictions on what song you choose, as long as it has a connection to Christmas or winter.

Videos should be no longer than 4 minutes. The file name should include your (group’s) name and the title of the song. Email your video to [email protected].

Entries will be judged on the musicality and effort of the performance, not video-making skills.

The closing date for entries is December 10, 11.59pm.
