I watch you. I wish for you. I want you. But, we aren’t meant to be. They won’t let me be with you. Trust me, I have tried. Sometimes, I feel like ripping my heart out. I dream about you and that mends me for a while. But then I remember it’s all just a silly fantasy. I will not forget you. I don’t think I can forget your sweetness, your silkiness, or how you have comforted me in both the good and rough times. Perhaps someday we can be together. I turn away before someone else buys a scoop.
