Waddup everyone, I’m Eunice, 18 and freshly graduated from high school, currently at liberty and enjoying life. Being born in a house full of musicians, I do also enjoy music myself, mainly a cappella.

Most inspiring quote:

“The sun will come out tomorrow.” Tomorrow, from the musical Annie

I don’t have a specific quote that I like, but I really like the lyrics of this song. When I was battling through the DSE, it felt like I was in a living hell. Without tomorrow, all I’d do was wake up at seven in the morning, study until noon, have lunch, study until it was time for dinner, then study until it was midnight. It was horrible and tiring. I stumbled across this song on YouTube when I was looking for songs to listen to at night that could calm me down. I ended up crying over the lyrics in this song, because somehow they really meant something to me. The lyrics reminds us that there’s still another tomorrow and, as long as there’s a tomorrow, there’s hope.

ROYP: inspiring words that give our readers that little extra push they need

Hello! I’m a soon-to-be 17-year-old, Year 13 student from King George V School. As you can tell from my photo, I am an animal-lover with a particular soft spot for beagles (no, not JUST because I own a beagle).

I also enjoy listening to K-pop and reading Harry Potter.

Most inspiring quote:

“No good sittin’ worryin’ abou’ it. What’s comin’ will come, an’ we’ll meet it when it does.” – Rubeus Hagrid, from the book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling

I really relate to this quote on a personal level. I have my IB examinations coming up, and this quote highlights the importance of being prepared, as well as the futility of worrying – though, of course, I still continue to worry.

ROYP: from staying calm to conquering stage fright, words that keep our readers going

Hi! I’m a 16-year-old secondary school student. I’m very into YouTube, books and American dramas. I will go nuts if you talk to me about YouTube’s The Try Guys or Dan and Phil.

Most inspiring quote:

“Live boldly. Push yourself. Don’t settle. Just live well. Just LIVE.”  from the book Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

This quote gives me the strength to step out of my comfort zone and take on the challenges that life throws at me. We only live once and that’s why we should not fill our lives with regrets; instead we should be bold and make our dreams possible.

ROYP: the quotes that help our readers deal with everything from self-esteem to homesickness

I’m Owen, an ordinary, self-deprecating, angsty 16-year-old. I’m a huge soda and coffee addict, and I love listening to the same old songs again and again (and again).

Most inspiring quote:

“I’m ready to make that turn, before we both crash and burn” Honeymoon Avenue, by Ariana Grande

Although I’m not a huge fan of Ariana, I can’t deny that I’m practically obsessed with this song. The major reason I vibe with this line is because I believe we all have to make changes in life, no matter how reluctant we are. I wish that I was more decisive and was equally ready to make that turn.
