Crazy commute

I look forward to my trip home on the school bus, because when you have a friend who keeps insisting she will give you beef for a birthday present, turkey for a Christmas present, plus the rare Halloween gift of vegetables, how is that boring?

Pyjama party!

Unlike most students who look forward to seeing their beds, I look forward to seeing my pyjamas! Wearing a stiff uniform, whether it's an unseasonably sticky winter, or wet and miserable, is not exactly pleasant. But as soon as I snuggle into my soft, comfy pyjamas, I feel as fresh as ever! In fact, I think Pyjama Day would be a great way to get students to focus better.

Anywhere but here!

Certainly after-school tutorials! What's better than staying at school until 7pm every day and having all these extra classes to prepare for exams? All Hong Kong students LOVE textbooks. Yeah, right.

Rip Van Winkle

When I go home at the end of the school day, I really look forward to being able to slump on my bed and go to sleep. I just wish I could do that all day!

Feelin' the love

I look forward to going back home and reading Young Post, checking the latest news on celebrities, politics, and any other juicy topics to stay up-to-date, plus reading the funny comics and doing the crosswords at the back! It's important to have some fun after school before doing homework!

Sleeping beauty

Definitely going back home and having a warm, cosy and well-deserved nap. With the IGCSEs, getting a good rest is almost impossible, as you have to juggle 11 subjects. Going home and lying in bed with a toasty hot chocolate (especially in the cold weather) is all I want as the end of the school day nears!

Born bookworm

I can't wait to get home so I can continue reading! Right now I'm reading The Book Thief, and I can't wait to see how it ends! I've really enjoyed it as it has taught me a lot about the meaning of life.

Making beautiful music together

Every Friday, our small live band practises together. That is one of the most pleasurable things I can do after school, as we can share our ideas with one another and express our feelings in our songs.

High tea at home

I can't wait to eat my mum's homemade snacks at teatime after school. Most of the time, my mother makes traditional snacks from our country, Pakistan, and they are always so delicious. My three other siblings also get home from school about the same time I do, and we eat our snacks together. It is always so peaceful to spend teatime with my family.

Hit the hay

Sleep. Definitely. I mean, coming home and finishing school work is not that bad, but when you finally lie down and rest, it's like a reward. I think this is the best way to wrap up the day ... and the only way. Hehe :)
