My BFF goes to the same school as me. They are one of the most special people in the world to me because they always give me advice, both about personal relationships and school life. They have taught me what it means to be myself and have made me appreciate all the special things in my life.

I spend as much time with my ice skating shoes as one would with their best friend. Ice skating is my hobby, but I can’t go to the ice rink every day. But I always look at my skates and imagine myself gliding on the ice. I take good care of them and make sure they’re always sparkling clean. I’ve had my skates for years and they’re very important to me.

Best Friends Forever #12: Need a helping hand?

At times, my best friend is a brilliant and influential leader who wears a mischievous grin on her face. At other times, she doesn’t credit herself enough for all the good she does for her friends. And sometimes she’s just a dork slurping Japanese noodles while giggling at Friends references. Her name is Natalie Kleinberg and I’m proud to call her my friend.

I would say my best friend is my mobile phone. It sounds like I’m addicted to my smartphone, but I just think it’s very useful. It allows me to stay in touch with friends, keeps me up to date on the news, capture memories, and it can fit in my pocket. I think there are a lot of people in my generation who can’t live without their mobile phones.

Best Friends Forever #11: Someone who turns my frown upside down

My friend Elena is from Malaysia. She is incredibly kind, smart, funny, and gorgeous. We met at school and instantly bonded over our love of the Netflix shows Stranger Things and Money Heist, and of writing our own short stories. The more we talked and got to know each other, the more we grew to trust each other. Now we are officially BFFs who always have fun hanging out together, and call and send each other weird pictures every day.

If you would like to tell us about your BFF, send your story to [email protected], and attach a jpg of you and your pal. All pics must be larger than 1MB, and you must have the permission of your friend or friends to use it.
