Poem to a "friend"

What are the chances to have you as a friend
You're always there to show me the possibilities never ends

Though it seems that we have drifted apart with our own lives,
I needed you to believe this:

As cliché as it may sounds
I will always stay by your side,
Like the way John did when Sherlock died

And on this year's Valentine,
A date for you might be hard to find

You might think you'd have to spend it on your own,
I'd laugh and say
"What's wrong with being forever alone?"

If that means to be alone together with you
