Kyouei Design - Glass Tank

Product designer Kouichi Okamoto founded Kyouei Design in 2006. He specialises in creating lighting and lifestyle products. His Glass Tank (HK$2,700) is a fun take on the traditional wine glass and eliminates the need for constant refilling. Made from heat-resistant glass, the bulb-shaped tank is combined with a tilted glass for drinking. Due to the balance between air and water pressure, the liquid will not overflow but keeps refilling as you drink.

Riedel - Sommeliers Black Tie glass

Founded in northern Bohemia in 1756, this brand has been at the top of the glass business for years. This red wine glass (HK$1,180) is made from lead crystal and traditionally blown in Austria. Each glass is accentuated by a black stem or a black base and is wine-specific.

Baccarat - Chateau Baccarat glass

The wide, rounded concave bottom of this glass (HK$900) is said to prevent wine from washing upwards and depositing on the inner wall when it is being swirled, so its aroma will be kept instead of being lost to oxidation. The vertical chimney offers comfortable contact with the lips. The collection also features a champagne flute, a wine decanter and a tumbler.
