In 2005, dancers/choreographers Andy Wong Ting-lam and Taiju Matsumoto made a pledge to meet once a year over the next decade, to perform a piece that would 'develop their potential and explore infinite possibilities in dancing'.
And so Dance Forest, their long-term project, returns for the sixth time this week, with the artists feeling more in tune with one another than ever.
'We also question whether we can keep our uniqueness and individuality while at the same time being together as a unit,' says Wong (above left, with Matsumoto), explaining the show's title, Oneness.
'The performance is also about our acceptance of what dance is, the good as well as the bad.'
